Judge 1	Dark ruby. brooding nose with just a hint of pepper and tobacco leaf and touch of dusty oak and a dried fruit note but builds a unity. Quite firmly tannic and just a little bit biting and sweet on the finish.
Judge 2	coffee/char, blackfruit, hint of funkiness. Good length/weight and acid/tannin/fruit all together. Savoury.
